Referral Terms and Conditions for Veterinary Physiotherapy Service
1. Introduction
These terms and conditions govern the referral process for clients referred to our veterinary physiotherapy service. By referring a client to us, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
2. Referral Process
2.1 Referral Criteria: Referrals should meet the following criteria:

2.3 Referral Confirmation: Upon receiving a referral, we will confirm receipt within 5 working days. The referring veterinarian will be notified of the confirmation.

3.1 Initial Assessment: We will conduct an initial assessment of the referred animal to determine the appropriate physiotherapy treatment plan.
3.2 Treatment Plan: Based on the assessment, we will develop a tailored treatment plan for the animal. This plan will be communicated to both the referring veterinarian and the client.
3.3 Client Consent: We require consent from the client before proceeding with any physiotherapy treatment. The client will be provided with detailed information about the treatment plan and its potential risks and benefits.
4. Communication
4.1 Updates to Referring Veterinarian: We will provide regular updates to the referring veterinarian regarding the progress of the animal's physiotherapy treatment.
4.2 Collaboration: We encourage collaboration between our physiotherapy team and the referring veterinarian to ensure the best possible outcome for the animal.
5. Fees and Payment
5.1 Fee Structure: Our fee structure for physiotherapy services will be communicated to the client prior to initiating treatment.
5.2 Payment Responsibility: The client is responsible for all fees associated with the physiotherapy treatment, unless otherwise agreed upon between the referring veterinarian and the client.
6. Confidentiality
6.1 Confidential Information: Any information shared during the referral process will be treated with the utmost confidentiality and will not be disclosed to third parties without consent.
6.2 Data Protection: We comply with all relevant data protection laws and regulations when handling client and animal information.
7. Termination of Referral
7.1 Termination: Either party may terminate the referral at any time by providing written notice to the other party.
7.2 Consequences of Termination: Upon termination, we will provide a summary of the animal's treatment to date and any recommendations for ongoing care.
8. Amendments
8.1 Changes to Terms: We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to the referring veterinarian and the client.
9. Governing Law
9.1 Jurisdiction: These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966 (Section 19). Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Animal Therapy.
